Jae Glass is the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at The Wave Learning Center and is a certified educator in the state of Florida. After graduating from Port St. Joe High School and Arkansas State University, Jae began her teaching career in Arkansas before returning to PSJ in 2016. Prior to forming The Wave, she taught in the public school setting for ten years, was recognized as ACTELA's Early English Educator of the Year in 2015, and, most recently, titled Gulf County Teacher of the Year 2021. She has a passion for engagement, creativity, and purposeful activities. Jae is excited to help your children reach new learning goals while enjoying summer break!
Jera Horton, Director of Operations & Facilities

Jera Horton is the Director of Operations and Facilities at The Wave Learning Center and a long-time resident of Port St. Joe. After graduating from Port St. Joe High School in 2007, she began her banking career where she has held positions in customer service, leadership, and community services. She brings 15 years of non-profit experience, including volunteer recruitment, policies and procedures implementation, and fundraising success. Jera is eager to be a part of a new business that offers opportunities to encourage young minds and additional employment in Gulf County.
